Holiday Closure Dates for Grosse Pointe Music Academy

For 2025, Grosse Pointe Music Academy will be closed from Monday, December 22 through Thursday, January 1, 2026. During this time, we will pause all private lessons, group classes, and in-person activities.

However, regular lessons will resume on Friday, January 2, 2026. Because this closure is part of our standard calendar, no action is required from currently enrolled families. Schedules will continue as normal once we reopen.

We’re excited for our upcoming student recital on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, hosted at the Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church. This special event showcases the dedication and progress of our music students — from beginners to advanced performers — across a variety of instruments and age groups.

Session Times
We will hold two recital sessions:

• 3:00 PM
• 4:30 PM

Each session will run approximately one hour or less. Please plan to attend the session your student is scheduled for.

Arrival Details
We kindly ask that all performers and guests arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your scheduled recital time. This helps us avoid congestion in the venue and allows our team to prepare each session smoothly and respectfully for all families.

What to Expect
Each performer will present one short piece — typically under 2 minutes — that represents their current level and progress.
