We aim to make attending recitals convenient for families and instructors by selecting recital locations near our music academies. You are also welcome to sign up for a recital at a different location if the date works better for your schedule.
Recital Registration and Session Times
- Families may now select their preferred recital session time when registering.
- Please complete your sign-up and pay the performer fee at least one week before the recital.
- Each recital session will last approximately one hour or less.
Performer and Guest Guidelines
- Each performer may bring up to four guests at no additional cost.
- Additional guests are welcome with a small additional fee.
- Please plan to arrive on time and stay for the full session to support all performers.
- During performances, we ask that everyone remain seated and keep conversations to a minimum to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
Performance Details
- Recitals are held at a local facility, not at the music academy.
- Each performer may present one piece — one song title per student, please.
- For most students, performance pieces should be 2 minutes or less.
- Advancing students who wish to perform a longer piece (up to 4 minutes) are welcome to do so for an additional small fee. Please inquire when registering.
- Performers may sit anywhere in the audience and will be called up individually to perform.
- If using printed music, please mark your music clearly with a post-it note or paperclip.
- Please arrive early if you need time to tune your instrument before the session begins.
- Performers are asked to dress modestly and appropriately — appearance reflects your professionalism and effort for the event.
If you have any questions, please ask the front desk We hope you enjoy the recital!
