With a remarkable decade of experience in the field of education, Lilit has had the privilege of instructing students in a diverse array of settings. Her experience includes teaching in public schools, summer music camp, directing pep band, running sectionals, assisting with band at a private school, creating a music program at a charter school, and teaching private music lessons.

At Grosse Pointe Music Academy, we celebrate the vibrant history and expressive potential of brass instruments—especially the trumpet. Known for its bold tone and wide range, the trumpet is a cornerstone of classical, jazz, funk, and popular music traditions. Whether soaring above a big band or blending into a brass ensemble, the trumpet commands attention and inspires creativity.

In addition to trumpet, many students find success expanding into related instruments such as flugelhorn, trombone, tuba, and French horn. Brass instruments offer unique challenges and rewards, helping students develop breath control, embouchure strength, musical phrasing, and listening skills.

Though Aaron J.anik is no longer teaching with us, we are grateful for his past contributions and continue to offer high-quality instruction in trumpet and all brass instruments.
