Music Recitals – Grosse Pointe Music Academy
Grosse Pointe Music Academy hosts two annual recitals per location in the Winter and Spring. Recitals give students the opportunity to build confidence, perform for family and friends, and celebrate their progress.
Students may choose any recital location that fits their schedule.

General Recital Information
Registration
- Please register and pay at least one week before the recital
- Families may choose their preferred session time
- Each session lasts approximately one hour
Guests
- Each performer may bring up to 4 guests at no charge
- Additional guests may attend for a small fee
Performance Guidelines
- Each student performs one piece
- Recommended length: 2 minutes or less
- Advanced students may perform up to 4 minutes (additional fee)
- Performers will be called up individually
Day of Recital
- Arrive on time and stay for the full session
- Remain seated and minimize conversation during performances
- Bring clearly marked sheet music if needed
- Arrive early if your instrument needs tuning
- Dress appropriately for a performance setting
