Rock Band Camp 2027
Give your child the experience of playing in a real band, building confidence, and performing live.
Grosse Pointe Music Academy’s Rock Band Camp is one of the most exciting and engaging music programs in the Detroit area. Students ages 8–17 will rehearse, collaborate, and perform together in a real band setting.

Camp Dates & Schedule
- Mid-Winter Break: February 15–19, 2027
- Spring Break: March 29 – April 2, 2027
- Summer: July 12–16, 2027
- Summer: July 26–30, 2027
- Summer: August 2–6, 2027
Time: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Who This Camp Is For
This camp is designed for students ages 8–17 who are interested in guitar, bass, drums, piano, or voice.
Beginner and intermediate students are welcome. Groups are organized by age and experience level to ensure every student has a great experience.

- How to play in a band setting
- Song structure and arrangement
- Stage presence and performance skills
- Basic improvisation and musical creativity
- Listening and communication with other musicians
Tuition
- $399 per week
Final Performance
Each camp ends with a live performance where students showcase what they’ve learned. This is often the highlight of the week and a great confidence-building experience.
