Important: Grosse Pointe Music Academy is a private business and is not affiliated with any public school district. We do not follow public school closures or schedules.

Lessons continue as scheduled unless you receive an official cancellation notice from our office.

All scheduled days off and closures are subject to change. When changes occur, we will notify students and families by email and text message.

Attendance & Scheduling

Missed lessons or cancellations cannot be excused based on assumptions about our schedule or local school closures. If you are ever unsure whether lessons are taking place, please contact our office directly.
