Connecting Generations Through the Joy of Music
At Grosse Pointe Music Academy, our Music Together® Generations Class brings children and seniors together for joyful, shared musical experiences. These unique classes take place in senior living communities, where babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers join residents — our beloved “Musical Grandfriends” — for weekly singing, dancing, and instrument play.
While the children develop their innate musical abilities, they also form meaningful connections with seniors through these playful and heartwarming classes. The seniors, in turn, enjoy the lively energy, the opportunity to share memories, and the many social, emotional, and cognitive benefits that music provides.

Is the Generations Class Currently Running?
We are not currently offering the Music Together® Generations Class at this time. However, we hope to bring this beloved program back in the future.
