2025 Summer Camp Shows at Rustic Cabins – Grosse Pointe Music Academy
We’re excited to return to Rustic Cabins in Grosse Pointe Park for our 2025 summer music camp performances. After a successful debut at the venue in 2024, we’re expanding this year with three end-of-week shows—giving even more campers the chance to perform in a fun, community-oriented setting.
These performances showcase what students accomplish in just one week of camp. They’re a celebration of teamwork, creativity, and musical growth—set in a relaxed and family-friendly outdoor venue.
2025 Performance Dates & Times
All performances will take place at Rustic Cabins Bar on the outdoor stage. The estimated start time for each performance is 2:00 PM, and we’ll share final details as each date approaches.

A Look Back at 2024
In summer 2024, we hosted two performances at Rustic Cabins as part of our weekly camp finale events. The response from families, students, and the community was overwhelmingly positive.
The outdoor patio provided a comfortable, welcoming space for young musicians to showcase their work. With supportive audiences, excellent sound, and a great vibe, we knew right away we wanted to come back in 2025—and expand the format.
What to Expect in 2025
Each show will feature campers performing songs and ensemble pieces they’ve learned throughout the week. Performances typically include:
- Group band arrangements
- Student-led compositions
- Instrumental and vocal showcases
- Camp-wide closing numbers
Shows are free to attend, open to families and friends, and designed to be low-pressure and fun for students of all experience levels. Each performance lasts about 60–75 minutes, depending on the camp group.
About Our Summer Music Camps
Our Summer Music Camps run weekly throughout the summer and are open to students ages 8–16. No prior experience is required—just an interest in music and a willingness to participate.
Campers get hands-on experience with:
- Band collaboration and group playing
- Songwriting and arranging
- Practicing and rehearsing as a team
- Performing live in front of an audience
Every camp ends with a live performance to celebrate what the students have accomplished.
