At an age when most children are still learning their ABCs, Macomb Township’s Julian Pavone was already securing his place in history. Officially recognized by Guinness World Records at just 5 years, 10 months, and 3 days old, Julian earned the title of Youngest Professional Drummer, surpassing the previous record held by Japan’s Tiger Onitsuka.
Julian’s musical talents extend far beyond Guinness fame. By age 7, he had performed on over 150 television shows, including “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and “Good Morning America,” and continues to dazzle audiences worldwide. His busy schedule includes recording albums, inventing products like “Abracadabra” Stain Cover-Up and Julian’s Drum Gloves, launching a healthy snack line called Julian’s Go Bar, and even supporting charitable causes such as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Pavone’s musical journey began incredibly early—his parents, Bernie and Lisa Pavone, encouraged his passion after noticing his interest in percussion as young as three months old. Today, Julian studies drumming, voice, and dance intensively, taking lessons from respected teachers like George Dunn and Dennis Sheridan. He enjoys playing classics from The Beatles, Rush, and Led Zeppelin, and has even begun composing original rhythms.
Despite the whirlwind of success, Julian remains humble about his achievements, simply stating, “It feels good.” With talent, family support, and an unstoppable work ethic, the future looks exceptionally bright for this young musical prodigy.
