Grosse Pointe Music Academy is excited to announce the launch of our highly anticipated “Rock, Blues and Brews” class, starting this September. This unique evening class is designed for adults who play guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, and drums, offering a perfect blend of learning and socializing in a relaxed environment.
Class Overview
Starting on September 10th, “Rock, Blues and Brews” will take place every Tuesday night from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. This 8-week session is ideal for beginner to early-intermediate musicians who want to grasp the basics of reading chord progressions and get hands-on jamming experience with fellow players. Each week, participants will learn new chords and changes, essential for jamming to a variety of popular songs. Course materials, including variations of each exercise, will be provided to ensure everyone can follow along, regardless of their prior experience.
Enjoy a Social Learning Experience
To kick off the first class, we will provide beer for all participants! After the initial session, participants are welcome to bring their own beverages, or we can rotate the responsibility each week. We encourage responsible drinking to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
