At Grosse Pointe Music Academy, our Music Together® classes run year-round, offering families a warm, welcoming place to sing, dance, play, and make joyful music together. Whether you’re new to the program or one of our many returning families, you’ll enjoy an engaging schedule filled with new songs, opportunities for connection, and a flexible structure designed to fit your family’s busy life.
How Our Yearly Music Together® Program Works
We offer four main sessions throughout the year, each bringing fresh music, new materials, and joyful experiences:
Fall Session | 10 Weeks
Begins the Monday after Labor Day
Our full-length fall session kicks off the school year with a fresh collection of Music Together® songs, activities, and materials.
Holiday Family Favorites | 3 Weeks in December
A short, festive 3-week mini-session held between Thanksgiving and New Year’s. This is perfect for families wanting to stay musical during the holidays or for those looking to try a shorter commitment before a full session.
Winter Session | 10 Weeks
Starts the first full week of January
Shake off the winter blues with singing, dancing, and instrument play. Another full session of new music and materials keeps everyone engaged.
Spring Session | 10 Weeks – *(8 Weeks for 2026)
Starts in April
Warmer days bring fresh energy and a lively new collection of songs.
Summer Session | 6 Weeks
Starts after the 4th of July
Our flexible summer session is a popular option for families who want to keep the music going through the summer months.
Special Events & Drop-In Options
Throughout the year, our teachers host occasional special events open to enrolled families.
Depending on availability, drop-in sessions may also be offered for families wanting to experience a single class before committing to a full session.

Yes! Sibling discounts apply. Infants under 9 months with a paid sibling attend free.

Just yourselves — and a blanket for outdoor classes. We provide instruments and materials.
Q: What if I miss a class?
Make-up classes are available each session.
