As the year comes to a close, we want to share an important scheduling update regarding the Grosse Pointe Music Academy holiday break 2025. Each year, our academy observes a winter closure around Christmas and New Year’s. This break gives students, families, and instructors time to rest and reset.
Additionally, this annual pause helps us return focused and prepared for the year ahead.
Holiday Closure Dates for Grosse Pointe Music Academy
For 2025, Grosse Pointe Music Academy will be closed from Monday, December 22 through Thursday, January 1, 2026. During this time, we will pause all private lessons, group classes, and in-person activities.
However, regular lessons will resume on Friday, January 2, 2026. Because this closure is part of our standard calendar, no action is required from currently enrolled families. Schedules will continue as normal once we reopen.
Music Lessons We Offer Throughout the Year
Grosse Pointe Music Academy provides private music lessons for students of all ages and experience levels. Our offerings include piano, guitar, voice, drums, violin, and many additional instruments.
Moreover, our instructors tailor each lesson to the student’s goals and learning style. Beginners build strong fundamentals, while continuing students refine technique and consistency. As a result, students can progress at a pace that feels structured and manageable.
Planning Ahead After the Holiday Break
After the Grosse Pointe Music Academy holiday break 2025, January becomes a popular time for new enrollments and schedule updates. Therefore, families often use this time to start lessons, adjust lesson length, or explore a new instrument.
