Held at Grosse Pointe Music Academy – Grosse Pointe Woods, MI
Are you or your child interested in learning how to play guitar in a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment? Look no further than Beginner Guitar Camp, a week-long music program designed specifically for students ages 8 to 16 who are new to the guitar or have limited playing experience.
Beginner Guitar Camp provides a focused yet enjoyable introduction to guitar playing. Students will learn essential skills such as how to hold the instrument properly, tune the guitar, play basic chords, practice scales, and perform simple melodies and riffs. Each day includes interactive instruction, guided practice, group jam sessions, and fun musical games that help reinforce what students are learning.
Campers also explore a variety of well-known songs to build confidence and stay motivated throughout the week. The curriculum is carefully designed to ensure that students of all learning styles and musical backgrounds can follow along and experience success. Whether your child is picking up a guitar for the first time or already knows a few chords, this camp is a great way to build a strong musical foundation.
