Grosse Pointe Music Academy Commentary: Step Back into the Fabulous Fifties!
Break out the poodle skirts and saddle shoes! The Michigan Philharmonic is bringing the golden era of American pop culture back to life with a special concert titled “Fabulous Fifties,” happening on Saturday, February 15th at 7:30pm at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton.
With vocalists Geff Phillips and Kylee Phillips joining the orchestra, this nostalgic night features timeless hits from iconic artists like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, and Elvis Presley. Audiences will be treated to unforgettable songs from 1950s movies, Broadway, television classics, and jukebox rock ’n’ roll favorites.
